Synopsis

Amber had grown weary of Joshua's shifting moods and voiced her frustration. He, now in a more positive frame of mind and encouraged by his improving health, pledged to be a more reliable partner. Yet, Amber couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. His behavior around his parents felt strange, a reluctance to truly celebrate his recovery evident in his demeanor. And there was something unsettling about his eyes – his pupils were constricted, unnaturally small.
