Synopsis

A shadow crossed Sonya's face when Chris dismissed her, yet a flicker of hope remained that Patricia would confide in him about her troubles. Toadie, however, remained unconvinced. Spotting Patricia hurrying out of the antique shop, a palpable unease clung to her, and Sonya sensed something amiss. Patricia confessed she had been on the verge of selling some belongings to gamble, but managed to restrain herself. Sonya urged her to attend the GA meeting that day.
