Synopsis

Brennan felt a prickle of unease at the sight of a unfamiliar car lingering near the garage. As he moved to investigate, the vehicle sped away, and a deeper worry settled upon him: Danni’s ex-boyfriend, Stephen Montague, might have discovered where she works. He relayed the incident to Matt, who subsequently investigated. The car, it turned out, was not registered to Stephen.
