Synopsis

After Paul's highly visible outburst at the art exhibition, Terese directs blame at Karl for intensifying the pressure on Paul following his complaint to the council. But Karl offers a surprising counterpoint, asserting that the matter of the mayoral position is no longer his concern; he is genuinely troubled by Paul’s well-being. Meanwhile, Daniel feels a surge of helplessness as a distraught Paul breaks down into sobs shortly thereafter.
