Jacob offered a hurried apology for the impulsive kiss, but Sonya was left discomfited, a sense of obligation settling upon her to confide in Toadie. He pleaded with her not to, yet when Callum perceived a shift between them, Sonya resolved to be direct. She told Jacob they could no longer continue their time together, and then went home to reveal the truth to Toadie.
