Synopsis

Lucy and Mike called out Basil's name as they walked the length of the pier, their voices fading on the sea breeze. He was nowhere to be found. Without a word, Mike plunged into the water. Moments later, he surfaced, and Lucy immediately asked if he had spotted Basil. "No," Mike shouted back, his voice strained. "I can't see him anywhere." He swam beneath the pier, disappearing into the depths, searching desperately for a glimpse of Basil in the murky ocean below.
