Synopsis

Upon her return from Sydney, Kate finds herself met by Mark and a sharp accusation: that she had misrepresented Rebecca’s alibi in Paul’s case. Defensive, she erupts, leaving Mark with a heavy sense of guilt. He is left to grapple with a painful question – can he truly have both a promising career and a relationship with her? The choice seems stark: abandon the case that holds the potential to define his professional life, or relinquish Kate altogether.
