Synopsis

Despair has driven poor Lou to a breaking point, and he impulsively kisses Susan. Meanwhile, Serena’s resolve loosens, and she begins to yield to Scott’s advances. Lil, however, seethes with indignation at Karl’s calculated jest, a deliberate test of her own composure.
