Darren made the difficult decision to relinquish his hopes for a future with Libby. Separately, Karl urged Darcy to maintain distance from his family. Susan and Karl reached a shared understanding: neither desired a bitter, public divorce. And Stingray, returning to his studies, was demonstrably altered, the result of a positive shift brought about by his medication.
