Synopsis

A sense of unease settled upon Harold and Madge with the arrival of a new face in town; it felt as though they were being watched. Soon, they learned the woman, Wendy Barker, carried a heavy burden. Heartbreak had left her impoverished, and in her distress, she mistakenly believed Harold to be Alfie, the man who had broken her. Madge’s attempts to correct this misunderstanding proved futile.
