Synopsis

Toadie appeared at the police station. Sergeant Stamisorth informed him that the officer suspected a failure to intervene in the aftermath of the accident, and that inquiries would be made to ascertain the truth of the matter. Toadie agreed, his nervousness evident, to provide fingerprints.
