Synopsis

Toadie grew wary of Sarah’s shifting moods, and he finally confronted her, his own doubts simmering beneath the surface. She dismissed his concerns, but her explanations only deepened his unease. He eventually found her in a fragile state, and she, overwhelmed, finally confided in him. The truth spilled out: she was still in love with Karl, trapped by a marriage to Peter she couldn't embrace, adrift and unsure of what course to take.
