Synopsis

The NCIS team were dispatched to investigate the catastrophic explosion of an ambulance en route to a funeral. Inside, the remains of a Marine, killed in a prior automobile accident, had been transported. Their inquiry quickly unearthed unsettling truths: DNA recovered from the vehicle did not belong to the deceased Marine; the ambulance had been rigged to detonate; and the grieving family harbored a significant, concealed secret.
