It's possible to skip this series entirely. The narrative itself isn't particularly noteworthy, the performances seem restrained, and the overall length is excessive. Numerous sequences feel drawn out and dwell on unimportant aspects. Even increasing the playback speed doesn't make it much more bearable. It’s disappointing, because things seemed promising initially. Certain characters and performers do elevate the quality somewhat, but that isn't sufficient to redeem the series.
