Synopsis

Deep within the forests of northern Minnesota, biologist Lynn Rogers employs a unique approach – using food as a bridge – to earn the trust of wild black bears. This method, born from his own forty-year evolution from apprehension to profound interest, remains something of a debate. The film chronicles the year in the life of June, a mother bear, and her three cubs, offering an intimate glimpse into the world of black bears.
