Synopsis

High on a solitary island within the Canadian Arctic, a pair of white gyrfalcons and a family of arctic wolves face the challenge of nurturing their young. With the falcons’ eggs newly hatched, the parents are driven to find sufficient arctic hares to sustain them. Nearby, the wolf pack shelters its cubs in a den carved into a hillside. The film captures behaviours previously unknown—and never before recorded—by scientists.
