Synopsis

This documentary follows Ella, a young meerkat of just two years old, who has recently given birth to three pups. Their arrival, however, sparks conflict with her mother, the group’s formidable and controlling leader. Should Ella be banished from the family, she risks losing her offspring, and facing almost certain death alone in the harsh desert landscape.
