Synopsis

There are times when doing the right thing can leave you on the wrong side of the odds. One absence can outweigh even the best intentions, and even the most careful choices can leave you feeling the least prepared. When protecting one thing means leaving another exposed, the sting of your decision can be measured by what it costs. Traps are no less dangerous simply because they’re expected, and when cruelty is patient enough to work stitch by stitch, the thread you’ve been following may be the very thing holding the horror together. And when trust, people and plans begin to unravel all at once, survival is no longer measured by winning the fight, but by holding together long enough for desperation to answer the call.
