Synopsis

Haunted by doubts regarding the Nine-Tails’ assault on the Hidden Leaf years prior, Jiraiya muses to one of his toads that the hour may arrive when Naruto must tap into the full extent of the fox’s power. His questioning concluded, Jiraiya embarks on a pursuit of Pain, only to find himself face to face with Konan. A curious link seems to bind Jiraiya, Konan, and the enigmatic Pain. Meanwhile, one of Naruto's shadow clones crosses paths with Team Hebi.
