Synopsis

The conflict surrounding the Sanbi concludes without triumph for either the Konoha ninja or Orochimaru. Tsunade deems the mission to secure the beast a failure, citing its inherent danger as insurmountable. As Naruto and his companions prepare for their journey back, Yukimaru vanishes. Unseen by the departing group, Akatsuki lies in ambush, harboring designs of their own regarding the Sanbi.
