Synopsis

Kaguya seethed with fury at Hagoromo’s transgression. He, in turn, learned of her past deeds and resolved to confront her. Unaware of the depths of her history, Hagoromo could not trust her; he questioned whether the love and sorrow she had known were the root of her anger. Unable to find common ground, mother and son commenced a protracted and mournful conflict.
