Synopsis

Chip’s courtship of a classmate blossomed beautifully; hoping to win favor with her stern, traditional grandmother, he hired a horse and buggy. The gesture charmed the older woman, though she nonetheless insisted they remain at home for an afternoon dedicated entirely to pulling taffy.
