Synopsis

Uncle Charley was deeply troubled to hear that Robbie had begun seeing a vibrant and somewhat extravagant chorus girl. However, Steve remained unconcerned, confident in his son’s good judgment. Charley, with a touch of grim amusement, prophesied that Steve would soon be asked to contribute generously – quite literally, “on the line” – if he wished for the young woman to cease her courtship of Robbie.
