Synopsis

Yearning for the stage once more, Bub proposed an exchange with a friend—an actress at the Playhouse—who deeply desired the quietude of a settled home. Driven by a mutual envy of each other’s circumstances, they resolved to trade places and continue in their respective roles until the end of the theatrical season.
