Synopsis

As Mike resolved to ask Sally for her hand, a sudden wave of apprehension washed over him. His efforts to propose became clumsy and convoluted, only serving to muddy the waters further. He found himself drawing inspiration – or perhaps imitation – from the proposals his father and grandfather had once made to their own wives, blending their approaches into an awkward, uncertain mix.
