Synopsis

Chip was utterly perplexed by the assignment: a piece called “What My Mother Means to Me.” Desperate for inspiration, and after speaking with several mothers in his neighborhood, he took a bold chance. He decided to write about his grandfather instead, feeling that the older man possessed a uniquely nurturing presence—the most maternal figure in his life.
