Synopsis

Alfred, a small boy just beginning his schooling, found himself captivated by Dodie Douglas, a student in the third grade – an infatuation she decidedly did not return. When Uncle Charley extended an invitation for dinner, Dodie attempted to feign illness as a means of avoiding it. Not long after, Alfred’s mother reported his disappearance.
