My Only Love Song — Season 1

The tale of Princess Pyeonggang has inspired a historical drama starring Song Su-jeong, a celebrated actress known for her commanding presence and sharp tongue.

The conversation with the man in the cell stirred a disquiet within Su-jeong. A subtle unease bloomed, prompting her to consult her script for the story of Princess Pyeong-gang, seeking some grounding in the familiar narrative.

Dal exists for money, yet fortune consistently eludes him. Night after night, he directs silent pleas toward the stars, yearning for a single opportunity to finally achieve wealth.

Byun Sam-yong is the one tasked with navigating Su-jeong’s moods. It was his work that propelled her to stardom, and through his guidance, she has become known as Princess Pyeong-gang.

Princess Pyeong-gang is the sole heir of King Pyeong-won. She possessed a deep love for books, and within the pages of one particular volume, she discovered a prophecy: a peculiar bird would arrive to carry her from her home.

Su-jeong’s resilience was forged in the crucible of her grandmother’s stern affection. Yet, even she finds the world a daunting and perilous place. It is On Dal who offers to navigate it for her.

Born to humble origins, Mu-myeong was a man of few words. Yet, Princess Pyeong-gang alone seemed to grasp the depths of his being. For her, he would lay down his life without hesitation.

Il-yong, the eldest son of the influential Ko family, is known for his domineering nature and inflated sense of self. He has never found a woman who measures up to his exacting standards, yet recently he has been plagued by vivid, unsettlin…

Six years he’d spent as a mere prop, a costume car on the historical drama team, and now Boong-boong faced obsolescence. Yet, a family had taken root within his metallic frame.

Princess Pyeong-gang sought out the tribal chief of the mountain bandits, and from him gleaned the tale of their sorrowful past. In return for this knowledge, she offered him her wedding gown.

Il-yong made his way to On Dal’s dwelling. In the quiet of their shared space, Sam-yong confided in Su-jeong, expressing a sense that he had at last discovered the means of returning them all home.

Sam-yong’s temper flared at Su-jeong. He discovered Pyeong-gang by the river, alone, and On Dal approached her, offering an explanation for his request that she remain close.

Alone in his chambers, King Pyeong-won drew a sword. Its hilt bore the mark of a crescent moon, a gift from On Dal’s father, bestowed upon him a quarter century prior.

Il-yong dispatched search parties to locate the woman deemed mad. As she fled, Su-jeong was struck by a sudden memory: On Dal’s warning to remain put.

Swordsmen encircled Su-jeong and Sam-yong. Pyeong-gang urged Mu-myeong to flee. On Dal asked his mother to accompany him to his father’s ancestral lands.

As Pyeong-gang sleeps, Mu-myeong appears to her as if from a dream. On Dal informs Il-yong that the king has commanded his entry into the palace the following day.

The king, in gratitude for On Dal's assistance with a certain undertaking, desires him to marry the princess. Simultaneously, a valuable historical text, concealed within Boong-boong, has vanished.

The king informed Il-yong that the wedding had been canceled, assuring him that he would secure a suitable bride. Il-yong, however, insisted on making his own choice.

The king, issuing the command for On Dal to fight in the war, presented him with a sword – one that On Dal instantly recognized. Meanwhile, Sam-yong discovered the GPS had been set to guide him homeward.

Su-jeong and Sam-yong implored Boong-boong to restart. They located the history book and, with anxious hands, opened its pages. Meanwhile, On Dal set off on a lengthy journey.
