Synopsis

Earl crossed number fifty-six off his list, the task a reluctant acknowledgement of a debt repaid. He was returning the prize-winning feline to its owner, a necessary consequence of his earlier interference in the cat show, orchestrated to benefit Joy. Simultaneously, an unexpected connection bloomed between Randy and the cat's owner.
