I've got issues with narratives that employ extreme plot devices to avoid consequences, and this series fell into that trap. The manner in which characters recovered from significant wounds and dangerous toxins felt like a ridiculous spectacle. It undermined the show’s believability and left an unpleasant feeling afterward. Character growth was damaged by strange inconsistencies and character journeys that didn't make sense, seemingly pushed forward just to advance the plot. Things went wrong after the fourth episode; it started depending on these unbelievable scenarios which made it difficult to care about what happened next. It tested our willingness to accept things as real far too often for it to be excused. One of the action music selections was oddly a Eurobeat soundtrack, an unusual and inappropriate choice that diminished some of the fight sequences. However, Jang Hyuk’s performance was good, and there were a few well-executed action scenes.
