Synopsis

He possessed a gift – or perhaps a curse – to draw creatures to him with a scent that emanated from his hand. This ability, passed down from his father, rendered hunting effortless. Yet, the meat of his kills tasted bitter, tainted by the source of his skill. A darker peril lurked: the potential for the power to unravel his sanity, blurring the lines between kin and game. A remedy existed, but would the boy relinquish the very essence of himself to find it?
