Synopsis

Kanta, a man perpetually unsettled, sought respite in a forest on his journey home to his wife and daughter, Futaba. Weary and parched, he ate a red fruit he found near him, offering a silent gratitude to the plum tree from which it had fallen. Soon after, vivid recollections began to surface—memories of eras predating his own, intruding upon his dreams and waking hours alike. He embarked on a quest for a colossal tree, but its discovery brought him no solace.
