Synopsis

The discovery of Shigeru’s daughter, Yuri, in the mountains brought a pall over the village. Soon after, a virulent skin infection began to spread among the people. Ginko possessed the means to heal them, but Shigeru’s affliction was far more grave. The source of the sickness, it transpired, lay in a transgression: Shigeru and his deceased brother's son had inadvertently brought the parasitic *mushi* to the village by violating a sacred taboo.
