Synopsis

As night approaches, build a fire. As darkness descends, light a fire. Conceal the flame, for from the corpses will rise flames. Ginko encounters another Mushi-shi, a young woman named Yahagi. A new strain of Mushi is taking hold on the mountain slopes surrounding her village, growing to such a degree that the villagers are in peril. Desperate, they contemplate burning the entire mountain, but Ginko believes this course of action is gravely mistaken.
