It’s true that this series leans toward a darker tone, and that’s largely why I find it appealing. It feels refreshing to encounter programs willing to explore that kind of perspective; there aren't many shows that do so. The initial episodes gave me a feeling similar to *Resident Alien*, although I eventually lost interest in that show after a few seasons. I'm not convinced this series will maintain its quality over time, but I might be mistaken. My rating is a 7, though it’s really closer to somewhere around 6.5 or 7. I plan on continuing to watch it as long as it remains enjoyable.
