Synopsis

In a quiet Southern town, a shadow falls with the discovery of Ed Bonner, the local rogue, dead. Just as this tragedy unfolds, Jessica, Ames Caufield, and young Matt Burns – son of a former student of Ames’ – arrive. Matt finds himself the prime suspect in the murder. Linda Bonner, Ed's sister, a woman consumed by grief and a fierce protectiveness of Matt, implores Jessica to investigate.
