Synopsis

While researching her new novel at the zoo, she finds herself unexpectedly embroiled in a murder investigation. The body of Mark Atwater, fiancé of a zoo employee, has been discovered, poisoned by snake venom, and another employee is now charged with his death. As she delves deeper into the case, she uncovers a web of motives, revealing that several individuals would have benefited from Mark's demise.
