Synopsis

While Mr. Caruther is away on holiday, the children are looking after his pet mouse, Pewee. It was Rowlf’s responsibility to return Pewee to his cage, but in doing so, he inadvertently left the door ajar, and Pewee made his escape. The children then embarked on a frantic, all-night search for their tiny charge, hoping Nanny wouldn't discover what had happened.
