This is yet another disappointing TV show attempting to capitalize on the success of a much better movie released in 1996. Beyond a superficial attempt at diversity, there's simply nothing fresh or inventive about it. It suffers from a serious shortage of originality, underdeveloped characters, and genuine humor. For instance, depicting random people being harmed without any discernible purpose isn’t amusing—a fairly obvious point. The performances are adequate, but so many other aspects fall short that positive comments are difficult to come by. Ultimately, it's a tired and uninspired series trying to profit from the popularity of its earlier counterpart. It might have benefited from studying what made the original successful before attempting this revival.
