Synopsis

In the heart of Maine, Charlie lies injured, the long night unfolding in solitude. Across the country, in Montana, Tom follows unsettling signs – evidence of a predator encroaching upon his territory. Eustace is in a desperate scramble to gather funds for a looming loan repayment. And in Idaho, George Michaud, a newcomer to the mountain life, strives to earn a living guiding dog sleds through the towering peaks of the Tetons.
