Synopsis

Rich and his hounds pursue Rich’s adversary, the mountain lion known as Three-Toes, across the expanse of Montana's Ruby Valley. In Alaska, a young protégé delivers to Marty the new snowmobile engine he has long awaited. Eustace races against the winter frost to sow his field in North Carolina, while in Northwest Montana, Tom accepts a commission from a neighbor to craft a primitive bow, its deadline demanding a test of his stamina.
