Synopsis

Reverend Putty found himself in a disquieting predicament: Moralton was devoid of sin. The absence of wrongdoing left him adrift, a sense of purpose dissolving within him. Observing his distress, Orel, with a well-intentioned but unusual solution, procured a number of lost souls from the town next door, intending to provide Reverend Putty with new burdens – and opportunities – for salvation.
