Monty Python’s comedy holds up. The Flying Circus consists of a collection of brief scenes that frequently transition unexpectedly—I think I spelled “segue” correctly. Numerous segments have become well-known and familiar. A particular recurring gag, which isn't really to my taste, is now used as a visual reference. However, the lumberjack bit, which I consider their best, has developed its own dedicated fanbase, and it would be amusing to perform while costumed figures recreate the Mountie routine behind you. It’s likely that if one sketch fails to amuse, the next will elicit laughter. The show relies heavily on physical comedy and absurdity; the humor arises from unpredictable moments rather than traditional setups. That's characteristic of Monty Python.
