Synopsis

A postcard in hand, Lipsky arrives in Ruhenheim, where he finds Lunge already present. Lunge's own investigations had drawn him to the same quiet town. There, a working-class couple celebrates a lottery win, but their joy curdles into fear. Convinced that envious eyes are upon them, the husband begins to accumulate a frightening array of weapons.
