Synopsis

Within the guildhall, Vaiell spoke the falsehood with a face drained of color. “The Minotaur killed him. Rude is dead.” A wave of fear washed over the assembled company. Then, the doors groaned inward. A thick odor of blood and decay poured into the hall as a figure detached itself from the darkness beyond. "Dead? That’s news to me, Vaiell." It was Rude himself. Yet his eyes were no longer those of a scavenger—they held the gaze of a predator.
