Synopsis

The television flickered, displaying a news magazine segment detailing the resolution of Monk's hundredth case. He sat with his companions, watching the report unfold, when a disquieting realization struck him. One of the victims, the one whose fate had haunted him throughout the investigation, had been murdered by someone other than the perpetrator he had apprehended.
