Synopsis

Hal, a man of cheerful disposition and unremarkable talents, encountered Monk, and an immediate friendship blossomed between them. For Monk, it marked a novel experience – the presence of a companion. Yet, a subtle unease lingered: was Hal entirely forthcoming about his intentions?
