Synopsis

As Japan launched its wartime offensive across the Pacific during World War II, Imperial soldiers marched with a fierce pride and an unwavering belief in their own strength, armed with weapons that were often awkward and ill-suited to modern conflict. Certain that the strategies and equipment which had secured triumphs over colonial powers would also prevail against the Allies, Japan would ultimately find its weaponry contributing to its downfall.
