Synopsis

Larry Collier, a newspaper editor and Barney’s brother, is murdered while attempting to connect Police Chief Abbott with Corley, the leader of a ghetto mob who disguises his illicit operations behind an insurance company. Barney, framed with a fabricated history as a dishonest accountant, gains Corley's trust by rescuing his secretary, Millie. Corley hires him upon learning of this supposed past.
