Synopsis

In East Germany, a doctor profited from exploiting desperate political refugees, charging them for passage along an escape route. Now, fearing obsolescence in a reunified nation, he has taken a more drastic measure: kidnapping the daughter of a diplomat. The International Monetary Fund must intervene to rescue her, as she is held captive and reliant on life support, with each passing moment diminishing their chances.
